Music for All 2025 Grants Awarded

Music for All is pleased to announce that it has completed the administration of its 2025 Grants Round, and has awarded 25 separate grants of funds and instruments to schools, community groups and individuals. With special thanks to our partner, the Phil Taylor Foundation, the selection committee was able to consider more than 90 applications for this year’s round grants and make grants totaling over $32,000, bring the total grants since our inception in 2021 to just on $100,000.

Music for All Chair, Rob Walker was enthusiastic as he described the benefits that accrued to the community. “Music for All is a small registered charity, run solely by a volunteer board of directors. We are very happy to be in a position to help people who face challenges in meeting their music making or music education aspirations. A small amount awarded can often mean so much to someone in need and achieve profound results.”

“Our 2026 grants have helped a diverse group of people and organisations. From supplementing fledgling school music programs and community bands and orchestras with their local fund raising to helping young student musicians with support for their music education and many other worthy purposes.”

The Charity’s Patron, Mr John Foreman said, “The benefits of music making are immeasurable both to communities and individuals. However, the barriers to life transformation that music making brings can be varied and many – family struggles, disability, natural disasters, limited school budgets, limited resources in the community and many others. The Music for All grants can and does help those facing such challenges”.

The board of directors is pleased that due to support received from benefactors and its fund raising efforts, Music for All will call for applications again in 2026 for another round of grants. An announcement will likely be made in June 2026.
